FAQ
Short answers about how invitations, privacy, ads, and the optional upgrade work. If something still is not clear, write through Contact Us.
No. It does not show other people’s profiles, recommend matches, or message strangers. You create an invitation for someone you already want to ask out, then you share the link yourself.
No account is required to create or open an invite. The invite flow does not collect phone numbers. If you write to us through Contact Us, we only see what you type in that form.
You copy the invite link and paste it into the chat you already use. Make a Date does not send SMS, email, or WhatsApp on your behalf in this version.
The management link is the sender’s private hub. It shows Pending, Confirmed, Declined, or Countered. Keep it to yourself. Anyone with that URL can see the status and can pay to upgrade that invite.
The hub shows their decision, not a live “read receipt” of every page view. If they have not answered, the status stays Pending.
They get one counter: they can pick from your options or suggest an alternative. You then accept or decline once. There is no second round of counters inside the product.
Free invitations may display Google ads so the product can stay free to create. Ads are labeled as advertising. A $2 USD one-time upgrade removes ads from that invitation only.
It is a digital feature on the same invite URL: ads are stripped from their view and their name is shown with a gold shimmer. There is no physical gift and no subscription. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy (and Stripe if that checkout is enabled).
Invite details are kept for 14 days after creation, then deleted. Proposed times also have to fall within the next two weeks when you create the card.
People 18 or older. Do not create invitations involving minors. See the content guidelines if you are unsure what is allowed.
Yes. You can type your own occasion and forge a custom vibe (title plus emoji). If you tick “share with the community,” that idea goes to moderation before it can appear in the public Vibe Shop.
We do not attach invites to logins, so we usually cannot look up a sender the way an account-based app can. If you still have the invite URL or a checkout receipt, use Contact Us and we will try to help.
